Sports Event Photography Across Scotland
From club competitions to stadium sell outs, I capture the intensity, emotion and atmosphere of your event.
Every sporting event has its own pace and its own moments that only happen once. With more than 25 years of experience working in sport and a documentary approach to photography, I capture the action, the atmosphere and the people behind your event. The images are ideal for sharing on social media and with participants, family, and friends, promoting next year’s event, and thanking sponsors.
Sports Event Photography for Clubs, Governing Bodies & Organisers
Big crowds, big occasions and a lot happening at once. I know how to read the game, stay out of the way and capture the moments that matter, from the action on the pitch to the atmosphere in the stands.
Large Scale Events
With lots of competitors and a tight schedule, every performance deserves to be captured properly. Whether it’s a club tournament or a national competition, I make sure every competitor gets their moment, including the focus, the effort and the celebration.
Competitions & Tournaments
Event needs thousands of spectators to matter. For fixtures, festivals and open days, I capture the fun, the community spirit and the people involved, giving you images for your website, social media and funding applications.

Featured Rugby Event Coverage
2026 Men’s Scottish Varsity Match, The Hive, Edinburgh
Two of the world’s oldest universities fought it out at the 7,800 sell out at The Hive Stadium, home to Edinburgh Rugby. The ancient rivalry was once again played in a competitive but good spirited manner with the University of St Andrews running out eventual winners.
My role was to provide photos from the match and shared with Director of Sport at both institutions to use for promotional purposes.
Featured Acro Gymnastics Event Coverage
Falcon Invitational, Bedfordshire
I was asked to provide photography coverage for the Falcon Invitational Event which included competitors from Grade 1 through to International Development Plan 1. There were c.130 pairs and trios split across 3 sessions so it was a busy day shooting and several days of editing to deliver 1,400 images for the client. Along with capturing gymnast speed, the lighting was extremely challenging.
A Safeguarding & Photography Procedure was agreed in advance of the event as was the designated welfare officer so I had a point of contact on the day.
